An alternative to breakfast (or before breakfast), a great way to start the day and add some options to the diet is to have a vegetable and spice juice.
Here's a serving suggestion.
In a Ninja Bullet or Nutribullet put some frozen baby carrots, frozen kale and frozen spinach along with teaspoons of flaxseed, chia seed, dry ginger power, of blackseed seeds, a spoon of honey, a lemon juice, turmeric, a banana or some dried raisins. Add water and blend.
You can also experiment with other combinations including fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices such as blackberries, strawberries, cranberries, red grapes, maca powder, apple (Red Delicious or Granny Smith), walnuts, pecans, brazil nuts, pistachio (especially for men) and carrots.
