Du Zhong (Eucommia) is a nourishing Yang herb. It is warm, sweet and is a Kidney and Liver herb. It replenishes their vital functions, strengthens the sinews and bones and lowers blood pressure. It is useful for lower back pain and knee ache, impotence, frequent urination and warms the lower body.
